Allison-Smith is an Electrical and Communications Contractor and Engineer.  We have been in the Atlanta market since 1943 therefore becoming one of the South’s leading electrical contracting firms.  We have the capability to provide an end-to-end solution from power and lighting to all low voltage systems.  With these capabilities we can be your one point of contact for all of your High and Low Voltage System needs.

Management
Our management has a broad spectrum of experience from new tenant build-outs to industrial plants. We employ individuals with electrical, mechanical, industrial, and civil engineering degrees and a combination of over 230 years of experience. We also employ Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD). Allison-Smith also has a full time CAD department, which enables us to design and stamp electrical and telecommunication drawings.

Field Experience
Since 1943, the centerpiece of Allison-Smith’s success has been the steady growth of our exceptionally stable, skilled and experienced labor force of field electricians and low voltage cabling technicians. Our foremen have an average tenure of 23 years and our core field group averages 8-10 years. We interview and test each new hire at our main office and require a minimum of 5 years experience for each electrician. In addition to field experience we require our senior technicians to attend building code, safety and job specific training courses.
